Beyond Academics:
The school provides adequate opportunities beyond class room instruction to create well rounded personalities of students. Students are exposed to Debates, Elocution, Essay writing, Music, Dance, Needle work and Sports like Archery, basketball,karate and atheletics for which regular competitions are organized.
Physical Education, sports and games form an important constituent of curriculum. The school has done exceptionally well in Basket Ball / Karate/ Archery, and a few of our girls have also donned the National colours and participated in National / International competitions. Students have brought laurels to the school by winning prestigious Gold, Silver and Bronze medals as well as Trophies in various events.
Talks, workshops are regularly conducted to enhance awareness levels and broaden the horizon of the students.
The students are also encouraged to come forward to learn musical instruments. Talented ones are included in the School Band which displays its skills on important School functions. Selected students are also given coaching in Western Music to constitute the School Choir.
Since its inception in 1893, the school has believed in reaching out to the under privileged sections of our society through various social service programmes
The School organizes frequent educational trips and excursions to places of historical and cultural interest to break the monotony of classrooms. Our Environment Club provides opportunity to girls to bond with the nature and environment
The Senior Girls Council, a Students Executive Council, was formed in the year 1954, by Mrs. Roshan Anklesaria. This body is a miniature democracy, by means of which we inculcate the ideas and ideals of independence with responsibility, organization with zeal and leadership.
